Brooke Huebner, born and raised in Newport Beach, California. She trained at Classical Dance Academy, under her mother & former Joffrey Ballet dancer, Elizabeth Molak-Huebner. She trained summers at Ballet West Academy, American Ballet Theatre New York City, and Radio City Rockettes invitational. She graduated from the University of Utah Ballet Department in 2018, where she performed in works from notable choreographers Gerald Arpino, George Balanchine, August Bournonville, as well as upcoming choreographers Penny Saunders, Michele Wiles, Eloy Barragan. After graduating, she spent a year at Nevada Ballet Theatre, under Roy Kaiser, where she worked with Ben Stevenson, Septime Webre, Tiit Helimets, along with Cirque du Soleil. In 2019 she guested with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet's "The Nutcracker". Besides performing, Brooke loves teaching, choreographing and sharing her passion for dance with the future generations. She was awarded the Outstanding Choreography award at the Youth America Grand Prix in 2017 & 2018.
Darian has lived, trained and worked in the New Orleans area her entire life, and recently moved to Los Angeles where she is represented by Bloc Talent Agency. Darian has danced with various artists such as Janet Jackson, Lil Wayne, and Rita Ora. She has enjoyed working on various TV programs and commercials including Popeyes, Marvel's "Cloak and Dagger", "NCIS New Orleans", and "Claws" as a principal dancer. Darian trained as a Protege with "The Pulse on Tour" for 2 years, was a member of the "Kaos" Cast, and is also traveling and working as a Pro Assistant and Staff Member with "Streetz Dance Convention and Competition". She has completed her Certification in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) and received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In Los Angeles, Darian has recently trained under Cameron Lee’s Mentorship Program and currently is a part of Troupe Dance Company. She has also been staying busy as a guest artist, choreographer, and teacher at studios throughout the region. Darian is excited to be part of the growing dance community and has found such joy and purpose in contributing to our future dance artists' education and growth.

Ashlie started dancing at the age of 3. She competed in jazz and lyrical until she was 15 when she joined an audition only, elite training program in Washington DC. Ashlie started working professionally in theater at the age of 10. Ashlie was a distinguished scholar of the arts in Maryland recipient. She attended Radford University as the first Freshman to be accepted into advanced modern in the BFA program. She studied under Danah Bella before transferring to California State University, Dominguez Hills, where she was the Carol Tubbs Dance Scholarship recipient and continued her dance education. Ashlie has had the pleasure of working along side and dancing with Michael Nickerson-Rossi of Nickerson- Rossi dance in Palm Springs. She danced with the professional modern dance company, Funderburk dance company before becoming an aerialist. Ashlie competed in aerial arts for 6 years, studied under contortionists and Cirque artists and received 10 medals for aerial. Ashlie is also a certified Yoga and Barre instructor. She has taught dance for over ten years all over Southern California and has choreographed for both competitive and non competitive programs. She has had winning soloists in local competitions and YAGP. She loves sharing her passion for dance and working with young artists.
Candice has a love of people and a passion for teaching dance. Candice’s tenure in teaching dance spans more than 40 years starting as the supervisor for the City of Anaheim Dance Program, as well as one of the instructors in ballet and jazz. Her teaching experience ranges from age 3 through adult in various genres including ballet, jazz, ballroom and disco. Candice has an Associate of Arts Degree in Dance from Santa Ana Community College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree and secondary teaching credential in physical education with an emphasis in dance from California State University at Long Beach.
Candice was honored to have been selected as a professional cheerleader entertainer for the Los Angeles Rams for three consecutive years.
Candice’s goal is to assist dancers in attaining their goals in dance, as well as promoting self-esteem, confidence and presence. Her focus is on technique followed by artistry.
Alexandra Chandler has been a student at Corona Dance Academy since she was 2 1/2 years, dancing in the same city she was born and raised in. She began her instruction under the direction of Rosemary McCarter, founder of Corona Dance Academy. Alexandra continued her training through the years under the direction Elizabeth Molak-Hubener, former Joffrey Ballet dancer, along with other instructors. Alexandra has been been a part of our Competition Team since the 2014-2015 season. She has attended training at Long Beach Ballet with Artistic Director David Wilcox. She also spent the summer of 2022 at Cal Arts as part of the California State Summer School for the Arts. The dance program is a pre-professional collegiate level intensive training. While there, she learned under Instructors Gregory Dawson, Samuel Wentz, Sidra Bell, Aleks Pérez, Rasta Thomas, Ernest Felton-Baker and various others. Knowing there is always room for growth, she plans to continue her dance training with Master Classes and Theater Classes. She is excited to officially begin her career as a dance instructor as part of the CDA staff, a place that has been her second home for 16 years. She finds joy in dance and wants everyone to experience the love she has for it. She can’t wait to teach everyone what she has been learning through her years of dance.
JOEY HERNANDEZ...is a first-generation college graduate, holding a BA and MFA in Dance from Beloit College and Mills College respectively. Joey has worked extensively in collegiate dance education as faculty at Carthage College, University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, and the University of Wisconsin Madison. Currently Joey is faculty at Diablo Valley College and Full Out Studios (Oakland, CA). Prior to his collegiate teaching positions, he was on faculty at
Millennium Dance Complex Chicago.
During his career, Joey has studied under the direction of Robert Moses and Cedric Gardner (So You Think You Can Dance). Performance highlights include: Carnival Los Angeles & Chicago, The Millennium Experience, Robert Moses Kin, The Miss Illinois Pageant, Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival, Summerfest (Milwaukee WI), Wisconsin Sports Awards, and Legends in Concert (Las Vegas, NV). Over his career he has set pieces for: Chicago's Choreographers Carnival, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Mills College, Marin School of the Arts, and The Milwaukee School of the Arts.
Joey has contributed guest classes at DePaul University (Chicago, IL), Athletic Garage (Pasadena, CA), and East Coast Edge (Boston, MA). In addition, to being an instructor for Platinum Performance Plus Convention, Dance Masters of Wisconsin Inc, Southern Association of Dance Masters, and Chicago National Association of Dance Masters. Joey has been privileged to be a judge for Applause Talent and StarQuest International for the past decade. He will be joining the award-winning staff of ORANGE COUNTY SCHOOL OF THE ARTS as new instructor, teaching HipHop and Dance History!
SARAH MANN...is currently an adjudicator for APPLAUSE TALENT Competition and NATIONALS and brings her extensive ballet training and experience to Corona Dance Academy. She trained at prestigious dance schools including Backhause, Ballet Pacifica, Maple Conservatory along with Cal State Fullerton and Orange Coast College. She brings pointe strength, training and prep, extensive knowledge of Classical Ballet Repertoire and her performing experience including Watson Dance Ensemble, INC Dance Company and Sunrise Ballet. She has coached dancers for the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix along with creating choreograph and leading multiple rehearsals.
