rosemary Molak-mccarter

Rosemary McCarter is a classical ballerina who began her training as a child in Rhode Island.  After 10 years of study, she was selected to study abroad for two years at the International School of Ballet, Split Yugoslavia, and became a professional ballerina in the Yugoslavia State Ballet.

Rosemary studied in New York at American Ballet Theater School and the Boston Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.  She was a staff teacher at the Phoenix School of Ballet in Phoenix Arizona under the direction of Mr. Kelly Brown.  Rosemary organized and directed the Interfaith Lithurgical Dance Group in Scottsdale Arizona and was the guest speaker at the Rocky Mountain Sacred Dance Guild in Denver, Colorado.

She has owned and operated ballet schools for the past 31 years and has held a position of Dance Lecturer at the University of California, Irvine.  Rosemary was also affiliated with the Ice Chalet of Costa Mesa, as Ballet Teacher and Chorographer Coach to the competitive skaters.  She was also the founder and Artistic Director of the Pacific School of Ballet in Laguna Hills, California.  Rosemary's daughters, Elizabeth and Celeste are both former members of the Joffrey Ballet Company.
